A few days ago, I received a text message from Pastors Val (and Sally) Chavez, President of the sixteen hundred Foursquare churches in the Philippines. When they wrote, they were just leaving from a trip to southern Leyte where the mudslide blanketed one entire village.With the money we sent, their teams were able to work with YWAM teams to bring aide to four hundred and twenty-five families. They are also working at planting a new church near the disaster area. If you’d like to send money to help, you may do so via our church. Please mark your cheque “Leyte Fund”.
